Suman Poonacha Condolences February 1, 2012
I have not met Mr. Newlon but have known him a little through his son, Chris. Coming from India, it was very fascinating to learn about Mr. Newlon's passion for yoga and I have heard from Chris, how that passion extended to the others too in the Newlon family. Hope all of you find the support and the strength to bear the loss. Heartfelt condolences.
Dilip Barman Condolences January 18, 2012
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Newlon but over the years of my close friendship with Chris, I've heard lots of stories about Mr. Newlon's amazing energy and focus on others, even when sick. But for me the biggest evidence of the loss of a great man is the well-rounded, engaged, and loving son that he has. My family's condolences go to the entire Newlon family.
Jane Gordon Friend of Martha via Academy January 9, 2012

Martha,

Please accept my sincere condolences. I read of Jay's death with great sadness. You are in my thoughts.

Dennis Donald Condolences to band buddy Martha January 8, 2012
Dear Martha  --  I regret not having the opportunity to have gotten to know Jay better but from everything I've heard and read he was a wonderful man and you have my heartfelt sympathy in your loss.   ------ Dennis
George Amoss retired DuPont Finance associate of Jay January 5, 2012
Jay was someone I always looked up to as a role model while I knew him at DuPont and afterwards.  Jay was earnest and hard working.  I observed a man who was always polite and quietly demanding when dealing with people in the work place. He was a legend at DuPont with his mode of transportation to work and many successful projects; and at the Academy with his many, many years of being an instructor.  May God bless his family.
Eleanor & Max Dooley Fond Memories January 5, 2012
We recall fondly times shared in band's England trip, breakfasts at Winterthur and surgery roomates at Wilmington Hospital. May he rest in peace and Martha, may you be comforted by your loving memories.

Much love.

Sorry for your loss.  Back in the mid 70's or so, I visisted your property to primarily help you do some work around the house.
